Private Cooking and Coaching Program
We offer one-on-one customized classes, designed for individuals who prefer to learn cooking in the privacy of their own kitchen and want a customized teaching program. Client’s needs and goals are discussed ahead of time and a class is designed accordingly. In addition, each class includes a focused coaching session that addresses each participant's individual needs.
Topics cover basic menu planning, kitchen set-up, cutting skills, prepping and cooking. We will also custom-design the class to meet the needs of people who specifically want to deepen their understanding of macrobiotic principles and philosophy.
The class is a mix of hands-on learning and demonstrations. Clients are encouraged to take notes during the class.
Each class consists of a three-hour session. Up to three persons may attend each class. We encourage booking a package of ten classes, so that we can take participants from a basic level of cooking to a level of proficiency. Individuals booking a package receive the tenth class free.
Cost: $240 per 3-hour class, payable at the end of the session. Traveling costs are additional, and vary according to location. Client is responsible for the cost of all supplies, including food and kitchen equipment.
