Contribute to Healthy Living Inc.!

Dear Friends,
As a non-profit organization, Healthy Living Inc. gets its funding from several sources, among others: public workshops and classes, grants from the funding community—foundations, corporations, neighborhood organizations, and private contributors.
Such donations help us with our many free public programs that serve the Washington, DC community: The cooking and nutrition programs at Pathways and Calvary Women Services , two shelters for homeless women in Ward 6, the cooking classes at the Riverside Center in Ward 7, the teaching healthy snacks program at the Boys and Girls Club, Jelleff Branch in Ward 3, and our numerous free demonstrations at area farmers markets in Mt. Pleasant, Dupont Circle and U & 14th Sts., NW.
I am asking for your help to continue growing—expand on the above-mentioned programs and create more. Our ultimate goal is to establish The Healthy Living Center, a natural foods cooking school and wellness education that would offer:
- cooking classes
- Health and wellness workshops
- cooperative cooking
- community dinners
- a subsidized healthy corner store initiative
- tools and one-on-one coaching for integrating lessons learned in the home and the workplace
- bags of locally grown produce and whole foods so our low income clients can better establish healthy cooking in their homes
- and eventually job training.
If any of these programs speak to you and you would like to support them, please contribute to Healthy Living. Contributions directly support these programs, even as low as $10, and are deeply appreciated.
Your donation is 100% TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
Thank you,
Juliette Tahar President
